Where Does the Map Take You?

The Eyre Peninsula is the heart of the Early Access map. Truck World: Australia locations span nine towns, with delivery jobs built around cargo pickup and unloading areas. Learning the town names and connecting routes helps you make sense of your hauling territory.

Keep the Early Access map scope separate from the upcoming Steam release when planning your purchase:

The Early Access version includes repeatable delivery contracts for full trailers and individual cargo loads carried on your own flat-top trailer. Those jobs give the road network a purpose beyond sightseeing: each run involves getting cargo between working delivery locations.

Delivery Depot Towns

Six named towns feature delivery depots:

Depot layouts vary in parking difficulty. Some offer a straightforward drive into the unloading area; others require more careful trailer maneuvering.

Check the approach before committing your trailer to a tight turn. A simple entrance and a demanding parking position call for different amounts of setup, so take your time lining up with the delivery area.

The hands-on work continues outside the cab. Early Access includes manual refueling, trailer connections, and interactions with trailer equipment. Leave room to handle those tasks when positioning your truck.

Roads Connecting the Named Locations

Coffin Bay → Cummins

The road between Coffin Bay and Cummins passes through coastal and rural surroundings, with open landscapes and long stretches of road.

Cargo loading and unloading locations anchor both ends of this route. That makes the connection useful for understanding how the game ties its scenery to actual hauling work.

Cummins → Lock → Kimba → Port Augusta

This route links Cummins, Lock, Kimba, and Port Augusta through rural southern Australia. Long highway sections and open country define the drive, with settlements and infrastructure along the way.

Use this sequence as a town-name checklist when getting familiar with the route:

  • Cummins
  • Lock
  • Kimba
  • Port Augusta

Kimba adds another named stop along the road network, alongside the six towns with featured delivery depots. The Early Access map contains nine towns overall.

Planned Roads Toward Marla

Map expansion plans extend beyond the Eyre Peninsula focus with two named connections:

  • Port Augusta to Marla
  • Hawker → Marree → Marla

These are planned additions during Early Access. Keep them separate from the existing regional map when choosing where to explore.

Expansion is part of a broader development plan that also includes more cargo, trailers, and hands-on trailer interactions. The estimated schedule targets major content updates approximately every three months, but that timing can change with development progress.
