How Big Is the Early Access Map?
Truck World: Australia map size starts with a regional focus: the Early Access build features South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula, with nine towns. Those towns provide the network for your delivery jobs, while longer outback routes are planned for future updates. Expect coastal highways, dusty rural roads, and hauling work tied to ports, farms, and local industries.
The starting region is designed to give you room to learn the truck and its delivery systems before tackling longer journeys into the outback. Relatively quiet roads and distances between towns support that introduction to running a trucking business.
The November 5, 2026 Early Access release launched on Xbox, Microsoft Store, and Epic Games Store. The Steam release is planned for 2027, so keep that platform timing in mind when deciding which version to buy.

Towns, Depots, and Delivery Routes
Named delivery-depot locations include Port Augusta, Port Lincoln, Lock, Cummins, Cowell, and Coffin Bay. These are individual locations within the game’s regional setting; the Early Access town count is nine.

Depot layouts add variety beyond the drive itself. Some loading and unloading areas allow straightforward entry, while others require more careful trailer positioning. Leave yourself time to maneuver at the destination instead of judging a job entirely by the road journey.
There are two repeatable contract types:
- Full-trailer deliveries, where the contract involves hauling a complete trailer.
- Individual cargo loads, carried on your own flat-top trailer.
Use the ability to combine deliveries when planning a run. Pick up additional cargo along the way and group compatible orders into the same trip to earn more from your trailer’s capacity.
The work also takes you outside the cab. Manual refueling, trailer connections, and trailer equipment handling are part of the current build, so a delivery involves more than driving between markers.
The handcrafted content takes approximately 3 hours to complete, including the first two story missions. Unlimited delivery contracts provide dozens of additional gameplay hours. Those figures describe the content loop, rather than how long it takes to cross the map.
Planned Map Expansions and Outback Routes
The expansion plan names two road corridors:

- Port Augusta to Marla
- Hawker–Marree–Marla
These routes belong to the Early Access development plans. Base your expectations for the current playable area on the Eyre Peninsula and its nine towns.
Drivable road trains are also planned for a future update and are absent from the initial Early Access release. If hauling multiple trailers across the outback is your main reason to play, keep that feature separate from the launch build’s existing delivery options.
Major content updates are targeted roughly every three months, but that schedule is an estimate. The named expansion routes have no individual release dates attached to them.
